Alpha Foam Ltd has been promoted by Mr. Rajiv Ranka, a qualified Mechanical Engineer from BITS Pilani & Mr. Apurva Ranka who is also a qualified Chemical Engineering from University of Minnesota & Masters in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania

Alpha Foam Ltd., established in 2001 as held Public Limited Company involved in diversified fields of business like: Polyurethane Foam & seat Assly, Polyethylene foam, Bubble Guard Sheets, Blow Molding, Vacuum formed parts & sheets, Nonwoven Fabrics for hygiene, medical and industrial use.

Its base close to the city of Pune with head office at Bhosari & three factories at Chakan. The company has shown substantial growth over the years with many success stories.

It started with spunbond nonwoven fabric in 2005 and the success of this led to laying the line for spunlace fabric in 2007. The implementation of Spun-Melt-Spun (SMS) was next & the same was set up in 2009. In April 2012, the company set up lamination extrusion plant for the above three products and in 2014 company set up SMMS line and in 2022 SSMMS Line and Cotton Spunlace line. With 2400 Tons per month capacity one of the largest & only manufacturer for a varierty of NonWoven fabric with in the country
